Another American citizen has been killed due to the actions of an illegal alien who was allowed into the United States by the Biden administration.

From ABC13.com: GRAPEVINE, Texas (KTRK) — An 18-year-old Air Force Academy cadet candidate was killed in a jet ski hit-and-run while kayaking in Texas over the holiday weekend.

The incident happened on Grapevine Lake on Sunday evening when the jet ski with two female occupants struck and killed Ava Moore, according to the Grapevine Police Department.

Daikerlyn Alejandra Gonzalez Gonzalez was arrested in connection to her death, according to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

A man who was with Gonzalez and helped her flee the scene was also arrested, according to a statement from Paxton’s office.

The passenger remained on the scene to be interviewed by first responders while the operator fled with the man, according to police.

The report notes that both Gonzalez, 21, and the man who helped her flee the scene, 21-year-old Maikel Coello Perozo, are both from Venezuela and are in the U.S. illegally, officials say. They reportedly crossed the border into the U.S. in 2023 or 2024 and were processed and released by the Biden administration.

Gonzaelz and another female were reportedly on the jet ski, riding at “a high rate of speed,” and ran into the teen Air Force cadet, Ava Moore, while she was on a kayak. Moore was pulled to the shore by bystanders, and rushed to the hospital, where she died of serious head injuries.

Moore had just graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School on May 19.

The Air Force Falcons released the following statement: “Today, we mourn the loss of Cadet Candidate Ava Moore, who passed away tragically over the weekend. Ava graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School on May 19, 2025, and had accepted an appointment to join the Academy as a member of the Class of 2029 and was set to join the Women’s Basketball team. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ava’s family, friends and loved ones.”

X user @Honest Iguana posted a series of photos and videos on social media, of the scene immediately after the deadly incident. The following photo is allegedly the two women on the jet ski, with Gonzalez, the alleged driver, on the left.

They were reportedly trying to flee, and the crowd kept telling them they weren’t going anywhere.

The bystanders are trying to corral the two women, and Gonzalez seems intent on fleeing:

More footage as the frantic crowd, speaking mostly in Spanish, tries to keep the women from fleeing.

The woman who was the passenger on the jet ski is then seen being pushed to leave by friends. It appears this may have been after she was interviewed by first responders. Officials said during a press conference that this woman has not been charged.

Gonzalez fled the scene, getting in a vehicle with 21-year-old Maikel Coello Perozo. Their vehicle reportedly crashed into two other vehicles as they left the area. Both were caught and arrested two days later at a residence after police received a tip, and Gonzaelez has been charged with second-degree felony manslaughter. Her bond is set at $500,000.

They are both in jail, with an immigration detainer.
