From Fox News: The FBI arrested the man accused of shooting at and into Sacramento’s ABC10 news station after he was released on bail, officials confirmed Monday.
FBI Director Kash Patel said in a statement on X that the suspect, Anibal Hernandez Santana, 63, was under a federal hold for interference with licensed broadcasts. U.S. Attorney Eric Grant later announced that the suspect was charged with possessing a firearm within a school zone, discharging a firearm within a school zone and interfering with a radio communication station. Hernandez Santana had previously been released on $200,000 bail Saturday, Sacramento County Jail records show, following his initial arrest.

Law enforcement carried out a search of Hernandez Santana’s person, home and vehicle. Documents show there was a weekly planner attached to the refrigerator in his home. Under “Friday,” there was a handwritten note that stated, “Do the Next Scary Thing.” Law enforcement also found a handwritten note that read, “For hiding Epstein & ignoring red flags. Do not support Patel, Bongino, & AG Pam Bondi. They’re next. – C.K. from above.”
Sacramento police said Santana fired at least three gunshots into the lobby of the ABC10 offices around 1:30 p.m. Friday afternoon. Miraculously, no one inside the building was injured. The shots were reportedly fired from a vehicle, which then quickly sped away. However, police were able to identify the vehicle and tracked Santana down.
After local authorities allowed Santana to post bond and released him from jail on Saturday, the FBI nabbed him hours later on federal charges for the shooting.
On Thursday, the day before the shooting, about 15 people had been protesting outside the station over ABC’s decision to suspend the Jimmy Kimmel show.
In a post on X, Patel wrote, “The FBI has taken into custody the suspect linked to the shooting into ABC10’s Sacramento station lobby under a federal hold for interference with licensed broadcasts.”
“Targeted acts of violence are unacceptable and will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law,” he added.

Santana’s X page is filled with anti-Trump comments, including one last week on Thursday, Sept. 18, where he mockingly called for prayers for Trump’s demise.
“Where is a good heart attack when we need it the most?? Please Join in my thoughts and prayers for the physical demise of our fearful leader,” he wrote.

In another vile post on Sept. 16, Santa wrote, “I support the death penalty for Tyler Robinson. Absolutely, as soon as the fed criminal code is amended to add the death penalty for a president who refuses to step down after certified election results and/or incites an insurrection. This has been a PSA for democracy. Thank you.”
