Just days after his term with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) came to a close, billionaire Elon Musk suddenly blasted out a series of posts on X Tuesday afternoon, coming out in fierce opposition to Republicans’ “Big Beautiful Bill”, the budget bill currently being considered by the Senate.

Several Republican holdouts, including Sen. Rand Paul, have dug in their heels and declared they will not support the bill, much to President Donald Trump’s dismay.

Now Musk is breaking his silence.

“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore,” Musk wrote. “This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”

“It will massively increase the already gigantic budget deficit to $2.5 trillion (!!!) and burden America citizens with crushingly unsustainable debt,” he warned in another post.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) responded to Musk, writing, “The Senate must make this bill better.”

“He’s right,” declared Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky).

“Simple math,” Musk replied.

General Mike Flynn warned “It will not get better. The hogs are still at the trough and will refuse to move away from it. There are not enough honest people in Congress who are willing to stand up for the harder right thing even at this stage of our monumental national debt.”

Reacting to another post, Musk wrote, “Congress is making America bankrupt.”

This comes after Musk just joined President Trump in the Oval Office for a press conference last week.
