NEWS ALERT: Elon Musk furious as civilian helicopter operators say FEMA blocking them, Buttigieg responds

According to multiple reports, Joe Biden’s FEMA is not only dragging their feet about helping hurricane victims in devastated areas, but is allegedly blocking efforts by civilians seeking to provide relief and rescue services.

X owner Elon Musk is furious.

Musk, who also owns SpaceX and Starlink, is sounding the alarm over reported efforts by the federal government to hinder delivery of the Starlink internet units he has donated to hurricane victims in North Carolina.

On Tuesday, Musk had announced “Since the Hurricane Helene disaster, SpaceX has sent as many Starlink terminals as possible to help areas in need. Earlier today, @RealDonaldTrump alerted me to additional people who need Starlink Internet in North Carolina. We are sending them terminals right away.”

Ivanka Trump flew to North Carolina with 300 Starlink units Musk had donated on Thursday.

Civilians are also using their private helicopters to help with the relief efforts and to deliver the Starlink units.

Around noon on Friday, Musk angrily posted the following update:

Just received this note from a SpaceX engineer helping on the ground in North Carolina. @FEMA is not merely failing to adequately help people in trouble, but is actively blocking citizens who try to help!

“Hey Elon, update here on site of Asheville, NC. We have powered up two large operating bases for choppers to deliver goods into hands. We’ve deployed 300+ starlinks and outpour is it has saved many lives.

“The big issue is FEMA is actively blocking shipments and seizing goods and services locally and locking them away to state they are their own. It’s very real and scary how much they have taken control to stop people helping. We are blocked now on the shipments of new starlinks coming in until we get an escort from the fire dept. but that may not be enough.”

Musk shared a screenshot as the text message continued, and wrote, “Just received this text 20 mins ago. The level of belligerent government incompetence is staggering!!”

The person texting Musk about the situation further wrote:

“It’s true. They are now about to shut down the Air space to ‘regulate’ the private choppers we are riding in to deliver Starlink and supplies. We are pushing back with Trump team as well to help us, but not looking good.

“We need help to get word out about FEMA, we spoke with Ivanka and handed out Starlinks with her yesterday but FEMA then showed up and started blocking us.

T”he largest concern for us here is the FAA throttling flights for our choppers where they are requiring To/from information and mission now to to deliver a discrete code. Doing this takes a long time and very cumbersome to the ops. This is the largest concern and most help we could use…”

In another post, Musk announced, “SpaceX engineers are trying to deliver Starlink terminals & supplies to devastated areas in North Carolina right now and @FEMA is both failing to help AND won’t let others help. This is unconscionable!!”

“They just took this video a few hours ago, where you can see the level of devastation: roads, houses, electricity, water supply and ground Internet connections completely destroyed. @FEMA wouldn’t let them land to deliver critical supplies … my blood is boiling …” he added furiously.

Valentina Gomez responded, “Multiple sources on the ground are confirming that there is a blockade.”

“Yeah, it’s not just SpaceX. They won’t let anyone help!” Musk replied.

Biden’s Transportation Secretary, Pete Buttigieg, responded, writing, “No one is shutting down the airspace and FAA doesn’t block legitimate rescue and recovery flights. If you’re encountering a problem give me a call.”

Musk replied, “Thanks for the call. Hopefully, we can resolve this soon.”

Journalist Nick Sortor, who is also helping with the relief efforts, responded, “This should shock absolutely NOBODY. FEMA is actively hindering relief efforts. Moreover, they’re claiming the Starlinks that I’ve personally delivered as ones THEY’VE delivered. They’re just running PR for the regime, and lying the entire way.”

Journalist Collin Rugg wrote, “We have seen report after report, all saying the same thing. At first, they decided not to help. Now they are blocking people from helping. Criminal.”

One civilian helicopter operator, Greg Biffle, a former NASCAR driver, reported a successful delivery.

ESPN’s Mary Smith wrote, “Former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle should receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his ongoing and ceaseless heroic efforts in western North Carolina, using his helicopter & coordinating w/ others to save lives. Go to @gbiffle to see his amazing effort. Thank you Greg.”

TOUCHING MOMENT: In the following video, posted Wednesday, a group of private helicopter pilots are seen starting off their day of rescue efforts with a prayer.

Christian Smith, a filmmaker and a pastor, shared the following disturbing account:

Just got off the phone a Pastor in the midst of the flooding in TN/NC. He is in one of the most devastated locations. He verified a few things about the situation:
– Almost all help is being done by private citizens, mainly churches.
– Private helicopters are flying in the vast majority of the supplies.
– Local Sheriffs are telling people to feel free to defend their property from looters by whatever means they have. 🔫
– WROL (Without Rule of Law) is happening in some areas, which means looting, robbing, and etc.
– FEMA’s involvement has seriously complicated the rescue efforts.
– Local Sheriffs have threatened to arrest FEMA workers if they hinder rescue and aid work.
– The response to this tragedy has been massive and overwhelming. All from private individuals and local Churches.

Things I’ve learned from the TN/NC flood:
– the federal government has billions to aid illegals, but $0 to help American taxpayers
– don’t count on FEMA to come rescue you, you are on your own
– be ready to die anytime, trust Christ to be truly ready
– know your neighbors, and be ready to help your elderly neighbors
– be involved with a local church, because they are the only ones that you can count on to help
– have guns, and know how to use them
– know first aid
– be physically fit
– have 90 days of food and supplies always
– American Christians are the backbone of disaster response, and always have been
