There was collusion against Donald Trump at every turn.
The House Judiciary GOP, chaired by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), posted two documents on X Tuesday showing that the two leaders of the Biden-era January 6 Committee were working very closely with former Special Counsel Jack Smith in their investigations against President Donald Trump and many other conservatives.
Two letters addressed to Smith were released, dated December 5 and December 9, 2022, from January 6 Committee Chairman Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) and then-Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wy.).
In the letters, Cheney and Thompson inform Smith they are turning over interview and deposition transcripts from their investigation, to aid Smith in his investigation against Trump.
“New documents prove BENNIE THOMPSON and LIZ CHENEY were working hand-in-hand with JACK SMITH. The partisan J6 Committee provided transcripts, documents, and text messages, all to take down President Trump and his associates,” House Judiciary GOP announced.
