Podcast host Dennis Michael Lynch has responded after a major debate on X this week about tech companies hiring foreign workers resulted in Elon Musk taking action against of one of President-elect Donald Trump’s staunchest supporters – independent journalist Laura Loomer.
Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, who Trump has appointed to head up the new Department of Government Efficiency agency, along with a number of other tech executives, are calling for more foreign tech workers from India to be brought to the U.S. to fill jobs, and Loomer sounded the alarm over the issue on Christmas Eve.
Many Trump supporters are now speaking out against foreign workers, but also voicing their outrage after Musk retaliated against Loomer by slapping her with a 12-hour suspension, cancelling all her subscriptions, and yanking her blue check mark verification Thursday night.
Musk admitted the algorithm has been changed on X, which basically allows other accounts to mute or block a person. If enough people do this, “your reach will decline significantly.”
So far, Trump has not made any public comments on the huge debacle, despite that the battle between some of his top appointees and many of his staunchest supporters has been raging for over 3 days and threatens the unity of the entire “MAGA world.”
DML responded Friday morning for firing off a series of posts on X.
“Sir, I thought you were smarter than Zuckerberg. Please do not prove me wrong. Freedom of speech is not an algorithm. There are comments to posts that there but cannot be seen. If that’s your version of Free Speech, then all hope in social media is lost,” DML wrote.

“Elon’s new algorithm mirrors the Facebook playbook. I prayed Elon was different; appears my prayers were missed? I was set to drop $20k/month to build my X account starting 1/1/25. I kill the commitment as my trust is gone. Get me once shame on you, get me twice shame on me,” DML wrote.

“If you bestow all of your trust and hope onto one politician you’ll end up disappointed. A politician is not a god; he works for you. If he fails, you fail. Your job ISN’T to love and worship him, it’s to keep him accountable. Keep your faith, love and loyalty reserved for God,” DML wrote in another post.

Replying to a Tesla Owners account calling for people to share posts on X, DML declared, “Will not share X with this new alogrythm. Just signed up for $20k per month advertising with X, but will now cancel. I’m not going to be “Facebooked” a second time.”

In another post, DML told Musk, “I just spent a month with a rep from X gearing up for a $250k ad program for 2025. I will withdraw my commitment with this new algorithm. Free Speech is not an algorithm. It’s either whole and pure, or it’s YouTube and Facebook.”

X user Danny Saunders wrote, “Sometimes nothing is at it seems, Everyone touted X and Elon as champions of free speech, makes me wonder what else is a lie or are we being deceived.”
DML replied, “Mass deportations was the greatest lie ever told.”

DML shared a powerful lesson about the H-1B visa program:
An unwritten lesson on the H-1B program that all should know…
Native born Joey Smith from New Jersey is just as good a programmer as the H-1B dude (aka Vijay Kahn from India). If Joey gets the job w/Silicon Valley Inc, odds are he is paid less than Joey will be. However, let’s assume they both start at the same wage.
After a year, Joey walks into the CEO’s office and explains all the great things he’s done for the company. He demands a raise, and hedges the demand by saying if he doesn’t get it he will go work at the competitor down the street who is willing to pay him more.
The CEO has two crappy choices because ultimately Joey holds the power. CEO can give the raise and keep Joey, or lose him to the competition. CEO feels like he loses in both cases. Whereas, if Vijay tries the same thing, the CEO has two choices for Vijay to choose from because the CEO holds all the power.
He says, “Vijay, I’m not giving you a raise. So choice #1 is to go back to your desk and don’t ask for another raise ever again. Because option #2 is you’re going back to India.
CEO holds all the power because Vijay is on a visa connected to his employment at Silicon Valley Inc.
Don’t believe the BS about foreign workers having more talent. It’s all about the CEOs wanting lower wages paid and the power of the visa. And because this is true on a wide scale, Americans no longer seek those tech jobs because they’ve been stolen by CEOs who give the jobs to foreign low wage workers. It’s the same way construction workers have been screwed by the importing of illegals.
IMO: It’s organized crime legalized.

“Just FYI: The number of H-1B visas issued has quadrupled since the first year they were issued in 1991. In 2022, 206,002 initial and continuing H-1B visas were issued,” DML noted.

Ramaswamy had claimed on Thursday, “The reason top tech companies often hire foreign-born & first-generation engineers over “native” Americans isn’t because of an innate American IQ deficit (a lazy & wrong explanation). A key part of it comes down to the c-word: culture.”
Billionaire Mark Cuban responded, “How do you feel about people who say “college is over rated ?” In order to have more homegrown engineers, don’t we need more kids going to college?”
DML fired back, “Stop it. You know how visas work. You also know how colleges teach. The greatest programmers on H-1B are all stars well before the college age.”

Last year, Elon Musk had announced, “We should greatly increase legal immigration of anyone who is hard-working, honest and loves America.”
He doubled down Friday as he insisted, “This is the right position for those who want America to win. For those who want America to lose for their own personal gain, I have no respect. Zero.”
DML fired back at Musk with the following rebuttal:
Sorry, but with all due respect to your brilliance, you are wrong. Offering mass immigration (over 1m+) into the US has destroyed the wages for American workers at every level and enriches large corporations who champion for cheap, skilled and unskilled labor. Immigration should be limited, greatly, to only the most educated and unique individuals. Currently, we are inundated by immigrants who are less than worthy of entry. They come in via chain migration, visa lotteries, and H-1B. Too many drain the systems and demand assistance.
We have plenty of Americans who love America but can’t find work or can’t get a raise because of mass immigration. Why do you ignore this?
To suggest our country needs mass immigration in order to win is just downright insulting and wrong. It’s just the opposite: Immigrants need the US to win, otherwise they wouldn’t come. People like me, with REAL knowledge of the immigration system, champion for lower immigration levels because we know the damage mass immigration causes. We are not anti-immigrant. We are pro America.
Two of my very best friends are legal immigrants. They offer incredible value to America. They’re both self made entrepreneurs versus sponsored workers. There is only one reason why Tesla needs a total of 750 H1B workers, and it has nothing to do with Americans winning or a love for this country.
I believe you are the most talented entrepreneur in history, and you have balls of steel. But… you are pounding this immigration drum to a beat we voted against playing. Considering you are a human, I suggest taking a step back and remembering you aren’t always the right side of an argument. Heck, you were a Democrat just last year. Remember the people who supported you, and who you need opening your app. (I wonder if the comments herein will be hidden or if this truly is a platform for free speech.)
PS: Ask your friend Tucker how he feels about the H-1B program. Let’s see if he’s going to bend as well.

Journalist Collin Rugg wrote, “Not bringing in the most talented individuals in the world means another foreign power gets them and means American citizens get complacent. Only letting the most talented and gifted immigrants come to the U.S. has always been a position of the right. Not sure why this is suddenly controversial.”
DML responded, “You’re misrepresenting the argument. This has been about H-1B visas, which are riddled with fraud and undercut American workers. It also has to do with MASS IMMIGRATION — we are not taking in just the best.
“The right (conservatives) are all for immigration (legal) when it’s limited and vetted, and if and when it does not hamper an American citizen. Mass immigration and H-1B visas are damaging to the USA.”

DML replied, “You listen to my show. I’ve been all in on Elon. My bad. He’s just a man. But I’ve also warned of Vivek since day 1, so I’m not a total dipsh*t. :-).”

Democrat Neera Tanden, who serves in the Biden administration, tried to play the race card.
She wrote, “I am an Indian American who was born here and it’s crystal clear that the Democratic Party sees me as American and a large part of the base of the Republican Party does not. I hope Indian Americans remember this moment at the next election. They don’t see you as one of them. And never will. You thought they just hated other immigrants. But it turns out there’s no exception for you. As many of us have been telling you.”
DML fired back, “That’s just foolish to say. This has nothing to do with your nationality. It’s about H-1B visas. Stop sounding like a Democrat.”
