NEWS ALERT: Deported illegal alien and suspected MS-13 gangster transferred from notorious El Salvador prison

From Fox News: Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal immigrant with alleged ties to a violent gang who was deported to El Salvador, had been transferred from the country’s notorious mega prison, Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo (CECOT), days before U.S. Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., arrived in the country last week to push for his freedom.

Van Hollen told reporters after returning to the U.S. on Friday and again on Sunday that Abrego Garcia, 29, is no longer in CECOT, a claim that was filed in the government’s daily update, obtained by Fox News, and now confirmed in writing by the State Department.

The filing states, “Abrego Garcia told Sen. Van Hollen on April 17 that he had been transferred from CECOT to the detention facility ‘Centro Industrial’ in Santa Ana about eight days prior. Abrego Garcia told Sen. Van Hollen that he had been placed in the administrative building of Centro Industrial, in a room of his own with a bed and furniture, and that he was not in a cell.”

Sunday afternoon, President Donald Trump blasted out the following statement on his Truth Social page:

Radical Lunatic Democrats and their Comrades in the Fake News Media are falsely making Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia out to be a very sweet and innocent person, which is a total, blatant, and dangerous LIE. Garcia has been found by two separate Courts to be a member of the violent, killer gang MS-13, was in our Country illegally, and is under a Deportation Order.

It is despicable and unAmerican for Liberals and the Mainstream Media to hate our Country so much, and be obsessed with protecting criminals, instead of working to keep our Border, streets, and families safe. Those lying to the American People on behalf of violent criminals have to be held responsible by the Agencies and the Courts. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

The White House Rapid Response team then blasted out the “receipts” on the charges against Abrego Garcia in a series of posts on X, as follows:

President Trump is right. The Fake News and Democrats are lying about Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an MS-13 gang member.

When Garcia was arrested, he was found with rolls of cash and drugs.

He was arrested with two other members of MS-13.

When arrested, he was wearing a sweatshirt with roles of money covering the ears, mouth, and eyes of presidents on various currency denominations. This is a known MS-13 gang symbol of see no evil, hear no evil, say no evil.

Two judges found that he was a member of MS-13. That finding has not been disturbed.

Intelligence reports found that he was involved in human trafficking.

He is an illegal alien from El Salvador.

He claimed fear of being returned to El Salvador because he would be persecuted by MS-13’s rival gang, Barrio-18.

Jennifer Vasquez, Garcia’s wife, petitioned for an order of protection against him. She claimed he punched her, scratched her, and ripped off her shirt, and bruised her.

BOTTOM LINE: Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a violent criminal illegal alien and MS-13 gang member. He belongs behind bars and off American soil.

DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin discussed the case in a Fox News interview Sunday.

“Abrego Garcia is a MS-13 gang member, illegal alien from El Salvador, and suspected human trafficker. The facts reveal he was pulled over with eight individuals in a car traveling from Texas to Maryland with no luggage. Whether he is in El Salvador or a detention facility in the U.S., he will be locked up and off America’s streets,” McLaughlin declared.
