NEWS ALERT: Biden Races To Sell Off Border Wall Parts Before Trump Takes Office [Republicans react in fury]

The Daily Wire published a report Thursday that will make your blood boil. The Biden administration is allegedly rushing to auction off the unused border wall materials before Trump takes office. 

Border Patrol agents have reportedly blown the whistle on the operation.

From the Daily Wire: The Biden administration is using its final weeks to haul a massive amount of border wall materials away from the southern border to be sold off in a government auction, an apparent effort to hinder President-elect Donald Trump’s effort to secure the border, The Daily Wire has learned.

Videos obtained exclusively by The Daily Wire from a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agent show unused sections of the wall being hauled away on the back of flatbed trucks from a section of the border just south of Tucson, a hotspot for illegal crossings during the Biden administration. The agent estimates that up to half a mile per day of unused border wall is being moved.

“They are taking it from three stations: Nogales, Tucson, and Three Points,” the border patrol agent, who was granted anonymity to speak freely, told The Daily Wire. “The goal is to move all of it off the border before Christmas.”

The materials were purchased with American taxpayer dollars during the first Trump administration, but were left sitting after Joe Biden halted all border wall construction when he took office.

Trump has vowed that he will finish building the border wall. Now the Biden administration is reportedly making every effort to sabotage those plans by hauling the materials off.

As the Daily Wire pointed out, if the material brought to the border during Trump’s first term is sold off, it will significantly delay any progress on one of his main campaign promises at the border.

The report explains:

The government contractor, DP Trucking LLC, is transporting the pieces of the wall north on Interstate 19 to Pinal Airpark in Marana, Arizona, where it is being auctioned through GovPlanet, a surplus government equipment auction marketplace.

The owner of the trucking company confirmed to Daily Wire that his firm is transporting the material, but wouldn’t provide any details.

It gets even more outrageous. According to the auction website, bidding for each section of wall panels is set to begin at only $5.00.

The auction website shows that sales occurred as recently as December 4 for precisely the types of materials being pulled off the border. GovPlanet has online auctions set for Dec. 11 and Dec. 18 for more of the border wall material, which is listed on the company’s website as “32.91’ X 7.91’ Steel Bollard Wall Sections w/Grout.”

The Daily Wire shared the following video on social media, as trucks are seen hauling steel wall materials off the border to a government auction site, where a massive amount of wall is waiting to be sold.

Republicans are reacting in outrage.

“What!?” demanded Elon Musk, commenting on the video.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) did not hide his fury, writing, “Son of a motherless goat!”

Donald Trump Jr. wrote, “Are you kidding me? Sell it for pennies on the dollar now and cart it off fast so it takes longer and costs more to do the job that the American public clearly wants. Democrats obviously hate America and you.”

Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita wrote, “Biden left materials for the border wall just sitting around that you, the taxpayer, paid for. Then he let millions of illegal aliens pour into our country unchecked and made every state a border state. Now, on his way out the door, he is sabotaging @realdonaldtrump who has a mandate to secure our border.”

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) wrote, “President Biden is rushing to sell off sections of the wall that are yet to be built. President Biden and Kamala Harris have successfully put illegal aliens over the safety and security of our own citizens. Never forget why the American people rejected them.”

Rep. Eric Burlison (R-Mo.) wrote, “The American people sent a clear mandate that they want secure borders. The Biden/Harris administration is intentionally sabotaging President Trump and the American people.”

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Tex.) had a suggestion: “$5 for border wall materials—biggest holiday sale of the season. @GregAbbott_TX should buy all the materials for Texas’ own border wall construction and then use freed up funds for Operation Lone Star to transport more illegal migrants from Texas to Democrat sanctuary cities.”

“The Biden-Harris regime believes in open borders so much that they’re sabotaging the next admin just to stop the wall,” wrote Sen. John Kennedy.

Former Navy SEAL and former FBI agent Jonathan Gilliam wrote, “As I’ve been saying for years, @realDonaldTrump should build military bases along both borders. Relocate as many bases there, along with the federal prison systems, and create an actual protected border.”

Rep. Michael Cloud (R-Tex.) wrote, “YOU PAID FOR THE WALL! The Biden Admin continues to demonstrate their disdain for the American People up until the bitter end. The American People already footed the bill for this border wall. They voted, again, to make clear they want the border secure—and still the Biden Admin is selling off the construction materials in a lame attempt to hinder POTUS 47’s efforts. We will not be deterred!”

Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R-Tex.) wrote, “I introduced legislation FOUR YEARS AGO to give Texas this unused border wall material so we can build it ourselves. The Administration completely ignored our requests and is now using its final weeks to further cripple our national security. Unf*ingbelieveable.”

Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.) wrote, “Want to buy a piece of the border wall? The Biden Admin’s starting bid is $5. This isn’t the first they’ve pulled this stunt and tried to sell border wall materials at a steep discount. I’ve called it out before, and I’m calling it out again.”

Former U.S. Senate candidate Sam Brown, an Army war veteran, wrote, “Biden didn’t just fail to secure the border—he left tons of wall material to rust in the desert, and now he’s racing to sell it off before President Trump takes office. I saw it firsthand in Yuma last year. This chaos must end. The incoming Congress must fund & finish the wall.”
