From NBC 12 News: Luke Air Force Base officials have given an “All Clear” after early reports of an active shooter incident on base.
The base said that previously, personnel was directed to shelter in place.
No active shooter or evidence of shots being fired have been found, according to Glendale Police Department.
Law enforcement and emergency personnel are actively clearing buildings out of an abundance of caution.
U.S. Senator Ruben Gallego had written a response after reports of the active shooter:
“My team is closely monitoring reports of an active shooter at Luke Air Force Base in West Valley. Thank you to law enforcement and emergency crews for their swift response. Everyone in the area, please remain cautious as we continue to learn more.”
