NEW FOOTAGE: FBI releases more video on Brown University shooting suspect

From the New York Post: The FBI on Tuesday released a video timeline that captured the portly person of interest in the Brown University mass shooting ambling and then rushing along streets near campus the day of the rampage.

The compilation of videos were retrieved from home security in the area and even show the stocky man walking right past emergency responders’ vehicles while fleeing the scene on Saturday.

He cut across Cooke, Manning, Benevolent, George and Hope streets – all near the eastern side of Brown University – before the garish attack, according to the timeline.

The first clips were timestamped at 2:00 p.m. – two hours before the carnage in which two students were killed and another nine injured.

The 5-minute video just released by the FBI Tuesday evening shows the stocky “pot-bellied” man roaming around the neighbor, sometimes pacing in front of the same homes multiple times ahead of the shooting.

The shooter opened fire on the Brown University campus at 4:03 p.m. Just minutes later, the very same person of interest was seen quickly walking past police cars and then heading north on Hope Street at 4:06 p.m.

In releasing the video, FBI Boston announced:

The FBI, in coordination with our partners at @ProvidenceRIPD and @RIStatePolice, is releasing an updated video timeline showing the movements of a person of interest in the mass shooting at Brown University on 12/13/25.

The #FBI is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual responsible. Anyone with information can contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or http://tips.fbi.gov.

The Providence Police Department also released a new 1-minute video compilation of the person of interest and wrote, “We are releasing an enhanced video of the person of interest in the Brown University incident. Footage was captured on the East Side of Providence on Saturday afternoon before the incident.”
