From NY Post: Chilling videos captured new angles of the chaotic moments before federal agents fatally shot an armed man who they say attempted to interfere in the arrest of a criminal migrant in Minneapolis.
Harrowing footage shared on social media shows a close-up of the explosive incident — which began as whistle-blowing protesters in the street looked on as about six federal agents pushed a man later identified as Alex Jeffrey Pretti to the ground.
Agents then swarmed Pretti — who was shot in the chaos — and wrestled him onto the icy street before one immigration officer grabbed his gun and unleashed more than a dozen shots.
In the video, onlookers were shocked and yelling expletives at the officers. Meanwhile, ICE agents backed away, some still pointing their guns at the motionless figure.
In another video, Pretti appears to be holding his phone as federal officers pepper sprayed him and another person. Pretti appears to be hanging onto the second person’s backpack, perhaps slipping on ice, as agents try to pull him off. Eventually he’s pushed to the ground. Pretti is seen struggling on his hands and knees before one agent seizes the gun and shots ring out.
