FROM DAILY CALLER: MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle rejected a report by Rolling Stone on Sunday which alleged that an audience relentlessly booed President Donald Trump at the U.S. Open men’s finals.
Rolling Stone published its report, “US Open Crowd Booed Trump Repeatedly,” which alleged that the boos could be heard during the National Anthem and when the president was shown on the arena screen. However, Ruhle said that she did not witness any booing and that the security delays for Trump’s appearance did not impact any attendee’s time.
Rolling Stone appeared to base its reporting off of two users on BlueSky, a left-wing social media site, whom claimed there were “audible boos and a few light claps.”
“I was there. I didn’t witness him getting booed & the delay wasn’t a big deal,” Ruhle wrote on X. “The day was about great tennis. The President was there too.”
