Ecclesiastes 11:5
As you do not know the path of the wind,
or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb,
so you cannot understand the work of God,
the Maker of all things.
[From the New International Version]
Ecclesiastes 11:5, highlights the mystery of God’s ways by comparing our limited understanding to the unknown path of the wind and the formation of a body in the womb. Just as these natural processes are beyond our full comprehension, so too is the work of God, the “Maker of all things,” beyond our understanding.
The verse reminds us of our limitations and the vastness of God’s wisdom and power. It encourages us to trust in God’s sovereignty, even when we cannot grasp His plans or the events unfolding in our lives.
This message calls us to acknowledge that some aspects of life will always remain a mystery, urging us to believe in God’s perfect work. Ultimately, it reminds us to trust in God’s control and wisdom, even when we can’t see the full picture.
