2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness.
Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish,
but everyone to come to repentance.

This verse emphasizes that God’s timing differs from human understanding of time or delay.
While it may seem to some that God is slow in fulfilling His promises, especially regarding judgment, He is actually showing patience. His desire is not to rush judgment but to give people time to repent and turn to Him.
God’s patience reflects His mercy, as He doesn’t want anyone spiritually lost. Instead, He wishes for all to have the opportunity to repent and find salvation.
