His Mercies Never End

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Lamentations 3:22-23 (NIV)


Jerusalem lay in ruins. The prophet Jeremiah wept over a city crushed by siege, starvation, and exile. But he declares a truth that defies despair: God’s love and compassion are inexhaustible.

We are not consumed. Not because our circumstances are kind, but because God’s steadfast, covenant-keeping love—holds us fast.

Every sunrise is a fresh delivery of mercy, tailored for the day’s unique trials. Yesterday’s grace was for yesterday; today’s is waiting, unwrapped at dawn.

Step into this day trusting the One who never runs dry.


Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unwavering love. Great is Your faithfulness. Anchor our souls in You. When the night feels endless, help us to remember that Your mercies are always ready to renew us. Give us the strength and confidence to spread Your holy Word. Forgive us for our weakness. In Jesus’ name we pray, AMEN.
