Psalm 139:23-24
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
It takes an honest heart to voluntarily ask to be searched.
It takes a yielded heart to ask to be tried and tested.
It takes a submitted life to be willing to be led.
None of it means we’re perfect or without sin. But when we truly want God to search us, know us and lead us, then His spirit can teach us and purify us.
“Dear Heavenly Father, we plead for Your presence to go with us as we begin this day. Guide our walk, words and actions, and help us to keep focused on Jesus. In His name we pray. Amen.”
