Romans 8:29 (New International Version)
“For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.”
(Commentary by Kat L)
God Isn’t Done With Us
Whatever our age, maturity in our faith, or intentions for the future, God isn’t done with us. He’s watching over us, guiding us, and inviting us into a deeper relationship with Him.
When our hearts are focused on Jesus, we see His servanthood and selflessness, His love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25), and the image to which we’re being conformed. To join Jesus in His mission and work on the earth, molding, shaping, and transformation must take place.
No matter what our shortcomings are, or what choices we’ve made, our Father in Heaven has a grand intention for us. We need to change our thinking and ask Him to alter our narrow scope from a focus on today to that of eternity.
Lord, thank You for Your instruction. I know that You have a plan for me that is not yet complete. Help me to change my perspective and seek Your choices. Let me have peace and to remember that Your loving hand is in all things, that I may rest in hope and turn my focus upward and outward. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN.
