Going Home

“But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Philippians 3:20 (NIV)

As believers, we know a beautiful truth – our true home is not here on earth but with Christ in heaven. Knowing this, we have t work to shift our focus from the temporal to the eternal, anchoring our hearts in the promise of our heavenly citizenship.

Life often pulls us into the fleeting pursuits and distractions of this world. Yet, amid our daily routines and struggles, we are called to remember where our ultimate allegiance lies. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, awaits us in glory, preparing a place where sorrow, pain, and uncertainty will be no more.

What happiness to know that our true home is with Him.

Let’s live with purpose, eagerly anticipating the day we will be with Him forever.

Lord Jesus, thank You for creating a home for us in Your presence in Heaven. Help us to focus on the real work we are supposed to be doing as we walk in Your light daily. In Your name we humbly pray, Amen.
