A New Thing
I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
God delights in surprising us, so it is important to stay open to the insights He quietly whispers: solutions, lessons, places, and discoveries.
Whatever you are going through now, good or bad, will only last for a season. You might want to avoid change, or you might be seeking change. Either way, God has His own timing. One thing is for sure – we can rest assured that God does not lie. He is consistent in telling us that He is taking care of us. It may not look the way we think it will look, but that “new thing” can be massively rewarding if we could just look and see it. So listen for the urging of the Holy Spirit and embrace change!
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for this day and all of the many blessings You’ve given us. Change my heart to accept change with faith. Thank You for being true and honest. In Jesus‘ name we pray – AMEN.
