John 12:24
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.”
[King James version]
This scripture was quoted by Dr. Ben Carson when he spoke at the memorial service last Sunday for Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
In a profound and moving tribute, Dr. Carson pointed out that Kirk was assassinated at 12:24 p.m., and he then read John 12:24. He then predicted that “much fruit is going to be realized” from the influence of Kirk’s life.
MAJOR CHILLS: Dr. Ben Carson reads John 12:24 — “Remembering that Charlie was shot at 12:24 p.m.:

Let’s consider the simple matter of planting seeds. Galations 6:7 says, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
It is true… whatever we sow, we will reap, whether good or bad. And even a single seed, when it sprouts and grows, results in many, many more seeds.
I heard at church recently, “You can count the seeds in an apple, but it’s impossible to count the apples in a seed.”
We don’t realize how far-reaching our influence can be. May the Lord help us each to plant seeds of wisdom, faith, love, compassion and TRUTH. Then God will multiple what we have sown.
