The God Who Gathers the Pieces

When tragedy shatters our lives, leaving us with jagged, messy fragments, we may search for answers and wonder if life can ever be whole again. But our Maker is a mender.
Like the leftover fragments gathered after Jesus fed the crowd, none of our broken pieces are wasted. The Holy Spirit intercedes for us when we cannot pray, and God uses others to help carry our burdens.
Picking up the pieces is not a task you must do alone. Bring your honest sadness, anger, and confusion to God. Surrender your grief and trust His ability to heal and repurpose every fragment of your life.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for being close to us when we feel lost and afraid. We surrender our brokenness to You and trust that You will mend us and create something new. In Jesus’ name we pray, AMEN.
