MORNING DEVOTION (October 16)

2

Psalm 139:1-3, 23-24

1 O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
2 You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off.
3 You [a]comprehend my path and my lying down,
And are acquainted with all my ways.

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
24 And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.

[New King James version]

Dear Heavenly Father, We’re thankful that You know the very depths of our soul, You know the fears and sorrows in every heart, and You know the motives that control. We ask You to search every corner of our hearts, and may we be willing for You to correct us, teach us, and lead us according to Your will. In Jesus’s name we pray. Amen.
