Deuteronomy 31:6
“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
[King James version]
If we really stop and think about it, is there anywhere – anywhere at all – we would dare to go if we knew the Lord would not go with us?
In Exodus 33, Moses told the Lord, “If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.” He didn’t want to go anywhere without the assurance that God would be in it, and God would be leading him.
May we be this careful, in every choice we make, to ask for the Lord to walk with us and lead us in the right direction.
