Psalm 30:4-5
King James version: 4 Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. 5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
New International version: 4 Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people; praise his holy name. 5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
If you’re going through a dark experience, where it feels like an endless night, just remember that God is still on His throne, and He can put light and joy in your heart.
Still, it’s almost beyond our comprehension to imagine what it will be like when we enter eternity… that truly will be like joy in the morning!
