Ephesians 6:10-13

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

[King James version]

Commentary from Anneta G.

This scripture was written over 2,000 years ago, but we’re literally seeing it play out in real time.  The chapter goes on to describe the armor of God as: truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit.

We may not be able to see the future or understand exactly how God’s plan is all going to take place, but we can have full confidence in His promises.

May we each put on the ‘armor of God’ and never take it off!
