God is worthy to be praised
Psalm 18:3
“I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.”
God is worthy to be praised because of who He is and what He has done.
He is the Creator, the source of all life, and the giver of every good gift, and reflecting His power, wisdom, and beauty.
Sustainer: He sustains all that He has created, providing for our daily needs and preserving the universe.
His character is defined by love, grace, and faithfulness. These attributes make Him deserving of our worship and adoration.
He forgives our sins and offers us new life in Christ. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us from sin and reconcile us to Himself. His faithful love for us is immeasurable and unconditional.
How do we praise a God so worthy?
We can praise God through spoken words, songs, and prayers. We can live lives that honor God and reflect His character. We can cultivate a heart of gratitude and humility.
We can devote ourselves to God and participate in worship.
As you launch into your day, remember to praise God with gusto!
Dear Lord Jesus, You are so worthy of praise. Your divine example humbles us, and Your goodness inspires us. Grant us the wisdom to seek Your purpose, and send us Your Spirit to guide us. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN.
