God is by your side
Psalms 124:2-5
2 if the Lord had not been on our side when people attacked us,
3 they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against us;
4 the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us,
5 the raging waters would have swept us away.
God is actively involved in each person’s life, offering support and strength during trials and tribulations. He acts as a shield, protecting believers from harm and providing a safe-haven in times of trouble.
We should trust in God’s plan and not lose faith, even when things are difficult. Abide in His presence as a source of strength so that you may overcome challenges and persevere through hardships.
Meeting Him each day in prayer and reflection will deepen your relationship with the divine, bringing you into a deeper understanding of Him and allowing you to communicate with Him confidently.
Approach today reflecting on how God has been present in your life, and acknowledge all the good things you have been blessed with over time.
Dear Lord in Heaven, thank You for being my Rock and my Shield. Some days I rely heavily on You, but I now that You are not burdened. You protect me and love me. Let me be Your voice, Your hands, and Your light on Earth, loving others the way You love me. In Jesus’ name I humbly pray, AMEN.
