No matter how much someone may love us, no matter how good a friend they are, or how influential or powerful anyone may be… there’s always a limit to what others can do for us. Human abilities have a limit, even at their very best.
BUT…. this verse assures us that the Lord is able to do so much more for us than we could ever ask for or think possible. God’s power is not limited, it is eternal. And our Lord, who can go with us where none other ever can, wants to be our friend… to help carry our burdens, and wipe away all our sins.
“Jesus knows our every weakness… take it to the Lord in prayer….”
