God is in the details
Ephesians 4:4-6
“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”
God is not only a miracle worker and powerful redeemer, but he is also the Master of peaceful afternoons, quiet moments, and small things.
He works in everything, using small things and big moments to alter outcomes and change lives. But do we notice God when He works in the little things?
Hebrews 13:8 says that Jesus stays the same—yesterday, today, and forever. He never changes. He’s been using small things—moments, actions, objects, and people—to do amazing things in the lives of believers since creation.
Since He is always the same, He’ll keep using small things for big goals.
Today, look for God in the small things, and enjoy the glory of His creation.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for showing us Your glory in all things great and small. Keep us humble, useful, and helpful. In Jesus’ name we pray, AMEN.
