Isaiah 43: 1, 7
1 But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Often we hear the words, “It’s my life, I’ll live it the way I want.” We’ve probably all uttered the very same words. But these verses make it clear that it was God who created us, He formed us, He redeemed us, and we belong to Him.
To go deeper, God said He didn’t create us for our own glory, but for HIS glory. May we live to glorify Him each day, and be a blessing to others… and God will bless us beyond measure.
