From Fox News: Latin pop singer Bad Bunny surprised his over 50 million followers by deleting every single one of his Instagram posts hours after his controversial Super Bowl performance Sunday night.

The 31-year-old singer, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, also deleted his Instagram profile picture and unfollowed everyone, leaving only his follower count intact.

This move followed the Latin trap artist’s Super Bowl LX halftime show, which received mixed reactions.

Bad Bunny’s performance received widespread condemnation from prominent conservatives, including President Donald Trump.

The singer’s Super Bowl performance was mostly all in Spanish, and the backlash became even more fierce when the vulgar lyrics to many of his songs were translated into English, allowing Americans to learn what he was really singing.

In addition to wiping his Instagram account clean, The Hill noted that Bad Bunny also unfollowed everyone he was following on X and wiped his profile photo from his account, @sanbenito. He has 5 million followers on that account.

Podcaster Benny Johnson announced, “Preliminary ratings numbers show viewership for Bad Bunny Halftime performance TANKED 39% from last year. Only 26.5 Million households ‘watched’.

“48.6 Million tuned into the game — meaning nearly HALF of Americans turned OFF the TV at halftime. Total culture victory 🇺🇸”
