LIBERAL PANIC: Democrats in meltdown mode over Elon Musk’s influence

Democrats typically have no problem with billionaires. They have gladly embraced and strategized with George Soros, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and even Mark Cuban.

But now that Elon Musk, currently the wealthiest person in the world, is not only firmly in the Trump camp, but one of President-elect Donald Trump’s closest advisers, the liberal meltdown has begun.

Musk and fellow billionaire Vivek Ramaswamy have been selected by Trump to lead the new DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) agency, to help cut wasteful government spending. And they won’t be paid a dime to do it.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) went on a tirade during an MSNBC interview this week, ranting over all the companies Musk owns, and claimed that as “co-president,” he can direct billions of federal dollars toward his own companies.

“Here he is whispering into the ear of Donald Trump. What is he whispering?” she raged, claiming, “This is a conflict of interest at a level we have never before seen in this country.”

Last month, Warren attacked Musk and Ramaswamy over their DOGE appointment, writing, “The Office of Government Efficiency is off to a great start with split leadership: two people to do the work of one person. Yeah, this seems REALLY efficient.”

Musk fired back, “Unlike you, neither of us are being paid, so it is very efficient indeed.@DOGE will do great things for the American people. Let history be the judge.”

Musk and Ramaswamy proved on Wednesday that they are already at work to cut out wasteful spending, as they led the charge on X to alert the public about the disastrous, pork-filled spending bill that was about to be rammed through Congress. As a result, Republican congress members’ phone were ringing off the hook, and the bill was trashed, due to the pressure.

The bill even included a whopping 40% pay increase for members of Congress from $174,000 to $243,000 per year.

Democrats are now raging against Musk in a public meltdown for helping kill the bill.

Former Obama adviser David Axelrod sneered, “So will President-elect Musk join the budget negotiations now?”

Conservative actress Colette Harrington fired back, “Oh please. Says the man that worked for George Soros his entire DC career. The master behind Obama and Biden.”

Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) raged, “Trump and Elon Musk are forcing Republicans to shut down the government days before Christmas unless Democrats accede to their crazy demands. Two billionaires telling millions of Americans they can go without pay during the holidays is really rich.”

Conservative X user @PatriotLyricist responded, “James, A 70k raise for Congress isn’t? Bio lab funding, pandemic powers, vaccine mandates, disaster relief only for Florida, not NC? Blocking congressional members from being investigated? Do we need to read the bill and continue to show what was put in and deemed by you as “necessary”? Stop lying to your voters and tell them what was in the bill……”

Progressive Democrat Rep. Pramila Jayapal of Washington claimed, “Elon Musk & Donald Trump don’t have to worry about paying rent or buying groceries as a government shutdown looms. But millions of American families do — including federal workers & military members. They’re just billionaires who don’t care at all about poor and working people.”

Democrat Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), who was trying to give herself a 40% raise, claimed, “Republicans are trying to shut down the government because they want to set up massive tax cuts for the rich next year while cutting Social Security and Medicare. They know Americans don’t support that, so they’re holding the entire government hostage to try to force it.”

Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger called him “President Musk.”

Rep. Maxwell Frost of Florida, a progressive Democrat, fumed over Musk’s influence and raged, “They’re messing with resources for working people because a d*mn billionaire spent hundreds of millions because he wants to run this country.”

Frost also falsely claimed, “[Elon] comes out and says, ‘I don’t like it because it doesn’t cut enough benefits from working families.’ And so now, we’re at this standstill, it’s all this chaos now.”

Musk commented on Frost’s rampage, writing, “He’s just mad he didn’t get his 40% raise to a quarter million dollars a year. “Empathy for working people” my ass.”

Rep. Sean Casten (D-Ill.) wildly raged, “We have two unelected billionaires who are telling the American people going into Christmas that the government’s going to be shut down.”

He referred to Elon Musk and Donald Trump, although noting that “Trump is not in office yet.”  CNN host Jake Tapper had to remind him that Trump was elected.

Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.) also raged against Musk, writing, “Elon Musk snaps his fingers and we shut down the government? It’s unacceptable. We’re in office to serve the people we represent, not unelected billionaires. We need to reach an agreement that puts the American people first and keeps the government open.”

Rep. Becca Balint (D-VT), who has a rainbow flag and ‘pronouns’ in her X profile, fumed, “Elon Musk is not an elected official. He’s been elected to nothing and has no place inserting himself like he’s the president when Congress is trying to get disaster relief to those who need it.”

Rep. Jim McGovern (D-Mass.) wrote, “Johnson negotiated w/ Democrats to keep the government open, then went back on his word (abandoning help for farmers & disaster victims) because, apparently, out of touch billionaire Elon Musk now calls the shots. At least we know who’s in charge. Grow a spine, Mr. Speaker!”

Conservatives are mocking the Democrat meltdown and thanking Musk for working for the American people.

“Elon Musk isn’t one man influencing government. He’s one man representing the millions who don’t have a voice because their elected representatives stopped listening to them,” wrote Joel Berry.

They’re also pointing out that Democrats have no problem with radical billionaire George Soros pouring millions into elections to transform the judicial system.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis jumped into the fray, writing, “The Left finds @elonmusk speaking out against a bloated spending bill to be a big problem…… yet, when George Soros pours millions of dollars into electing leftist district attorneys who pledge to go easy on criminals, that is somehow democracy in action… Make it make sense!”

Another X user shared a photo collage of all the Democrats cozying up to Billionaire George Soros and his son.
