Two Democrat congress members, both from Michigan, have filed separate articles of impeachment this week against two of President Trump’s Cabinet members: Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.
Wednesday morning, Rep. Haley Stevens (D-Mich.) announced she wants to impeach Kennedy.
Stevens, 42, has served in U.S. Congress since 2019. She is now running for U.S. Senate.
Stevens announced in a message on X Wednesday morning, “Today, I formally introduced articles of impeachment against Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. RFK Jr. has turned his back on science and the safety of the American people. Michiganders cannot take another day of his chaos.”

In late April, Thanedar also filed the first articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump during his second term.
Rep. Shri Thanedar, 70, was born in India. He came to the United States in 1979 to attend the University of Arkron in Ohio, and became a U.S. citizen in 1988.
Thanedar first served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2021 to 2023. He has served in the U.S. Congress since January 2023. He also made an unsuccessful run for governor of Michigan in 2018.
Thanedar is being slammed on X with reminders of a previous scandal he was involved in.
