Leaders from around the world have released statements of congratulations after President Donald Trump was inaugurated to serve a second term in the Oval Office on Monday.
Argentina President Javier Milei flew to Washington, D.C. over the weekend to attend the inaugural festivities, including the Hispanic Inaugural Ball in DC on Saturday.
Milei, a staunch supporter of Trump, and who has taken a ‘Trump-‘like’ approach of leadership in his own country, released the following statement:

In another post, Milei wrote:
Today I had the honor of attending the inauguration of President @realDonaldTrump. It is a historic moment for the United States and for the entire free world. Those of us who defend the life, liberty, and property of all human beings are happy to see that the ideas that we have been defending in Argentina since December 10, 2023 have triumphed again in the United States under President Trump.
Know that you will always be able to count on the Argentine Republic to defend the values that made the West the greatest civilizing feat in the history of humanity.
