From Page Six: President Joe Biden jokingly urged a roomful of Democratic donors and insiders not to jump in the White House pool at a weekend dinner to thank them before he leaves office.

But some attendees still felt all wet after the election.

“Good evening everyone . . . If you have a seat, please take it. Don’t jump in the pool!” Biden said to laughs at the tented black-tie soiree on the White House South Lawn, where the pool and fountain are located.

Biden touted that the dinner was a way to say “thank you,” and declared, “We began this journey to redeem the soul of the nation and define the light in the darkness. And I never could have gotten to where the White House has become without you and we never could have gotten as much done as we did without you. And that’s not hyperbole. I mean it from the bottom of my heart.”

He claimed that he is leaving the nation better off than when he took office, and rattled off all the issues he had been faced with, including the Covid Pandemic. Biden claimed that when he took office, the economy was in a “tailspin,” and then raged about the “violent insurrection” on January 6.

Kamala Harris’ former running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and his wife were among the attendees, which also included members of Biden’s Cabinet along with multiple Democrat donors.

However, the report notes some major Democrat donors who were invited skipped the White House bash. One source reportedly said, “Insiders who were invited and didn’t go are calling it ‘the losers party.’ Many said they didn’t want to be associated with the Dems right now because of the embarrassing loss” to Donald Trump in the election, “and anger over the $1.5 billion spent on the campaign that failed.”

Kamala Harris also skipped the big bash at the White House.  She had left on Tuesday, Nov. 19, for a nice long vacation in Hawaii, and is scheduled to return on Monday, Nov. 25.

Joe Biden will be leaving Tuesday to spend the rest of the week on vacation in Nantucket, Massachusetts.
