In an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier, Vice President Kamala Harris repeatedly avoided questions about her and Biden’s administration’s immigration record, instead shifting focus to former President Trump. Baier opened by asking how many illegal immigrants the Biden administration had released into the country.
“Well, I’m glad you raised the issue of immigration, because I agree with you,” Harris responded. It is a topic of discussion that people want to rightly have. And you know what I’m going to talk about-”
“But just a number,” Baier pressed. “Do you think it’s 1 million? 3 million?”
“Bret, let’s just get to the point, ok?” Harris said. “The point is that we have a broken immigration system that needs to be repaired.”
The exchange grows tense, with Harris visibly becoming frustrated when Baier pushes back on her responses. See the video below:

At one point, Harris also displays stern anger when deflecting another question by bringing up Trump. She told Baier she thinks Trump should be able to handle criticism from critics without threatening “locking people up”:

Total DISASTER for Team Kamala.

Harris also defended her record on the border since becoming vice president. She attempts to dissuade Baier’s questions on if she had any regrets by blaming Republicans for not helping pass a (lame) border security bill:
Kamala Harris: I can’t imagine the pain that the families of those victims have experienced for a loss that should not have occurred. It is also true that if a border security had actually been passed nine months ago.. we would have had more border agents at the border.. pic.twitter.com/qXriSZp44F

Baier then asked Harris about a poll where nearly 80% of respondents believe America is on “the wrong track.” She shies away from the answer by again, deflecting to Trump as a response:
There are so many clips I want to share, but Bret Baier saying, “I actually don’t, what are you talking about,” was incredible. Watch this clip on Kamala turning the page: pic.twitter.com/OMjUDKOWBu
