From NY PostSlain Hollywood icon Rob Reiner and his wife were found with their throats slit — with their daughter telling cops that a “dangerous” relative should be a suspect, according to a report Monday.

The legendary director and his wife of 36 years, Michele Singer Reiner, were found Sunday afternoon by their daughter, Romy — who immediately told cops the killer was another family member, TMZ reported.

The “A Few Good Men” director, 78, and his 68-year-old wife were both found with their throats slit, according to the outlet.

Sources told The Post that stab wounds to their throats were among multiple wounds throughout their bodies.

Roma Reiner told investigators on scene that a relative “should be a suspect,” adding that the person is “dangerous,” sources said.

TMZ has suggested the killing came after a heated argument, and the couple’s 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, is (or was) a person of interest, according to The Post, citing unidentified sources.

Actor Billy Crystal was reportedly seen at the Reiner’s home, as Crystal and Reiner were longtime friends and colleagues.

“According to a neighbor, actors Billy Crystal and Larry David arrived separately at the home on Sunday evening. The two comedians stayed briefly before departing, and Crystal “looked like he was about to cry,” the neighbor said,” ABC7 reported.

The Reiner family released the following statement:

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner. We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time.”

During a press conference Sunday night, officials said they have not identified a suspect, and nobody is currently in custody.

Mayor Karen Bass said in a statement: “This is a devastating loss for our city and our country.

“Rob Reiner’s contributions reverberate throughout American culture and society, and he has improved countless lives through his creative work and advocacy fighting for social and economic justice.”
