From Daily Mail: Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell was ‘driven mad’ by transgender prisoners having loud sex in front of her, despite being behind bars for serving up underage girls to Jeffrey Epstein, sources told Daily Mail.
Maxwell was moved to Tallahassee in the summer of 2022 after being sentenced to 20-years behind bars on sickening child sex trafficking crimes.
Maxwell, 63, who was in Tallahassee Federal prison before being transferred to a low security prison in Texas on Thursday, was in an ‘open unit’ where bunk beds were in sections of four separated by a small pony wall inside a larger ‘dorm-style’ room.
The source reported, “The trans prisoners would have loud sex, out in the open. It drove Ghislaine mad. The grunting and noises kept her and other prisoners awake at night, but the trans inmates didn’t care what time of day it was or who saw them. They would have sex whenever they could.’
Maxwell was suffering in other ways, as her former luxurious life now has far fewer creature comforts. In Tallahassee, the source said, ”There was inadequate food. Ghislaine is a vegetarian, and each prisoner is supposed to get 8oz of protein a day, but she was getting 2oz or less. The food was moldy. Everyone, not just Ghislaine, complained about the food.’
THE MAIN REASON
Primary on the list of reasons Maxwell was moved was because the Tallahassee prison could not keep her safe. Conditions at Tallahassee were “dire,” with guards and prison staff expressing concerns for her safety.
The concern came after Maxwell met with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.
“If she had a target on her back before it has been ten time worse since last week. She has barely slept. She is constantly looking over her shoulder,” the source said. “She has been in constant fear since the whole thing has blown up again.”

Epstein’s victims and their families spoke out against the move, according to a separate report by the Daily Mail.
“The Farmer sisters were both abused by Epstein as was Giuffre, who committed suicide in April. Her family members, Sky and Amanda Roberts, and Lanette and Danny Wilson, also signed the harshly worded statement about the transfer,” the report explained about the authors of the statement.
“This is the justice system failing victims right before our eyes,” said a statement from the group.
“Ghislaine Maxwell is a sexual predator who physically assaulted minor children on multiple occasions, and she should never be shown any leniency.
“Yet, without any notification to the Maxwell victims, the government overnight has moved Maxwell to a minimum security luxury prison in Texas.”
“It is with horror and outrage that we object to the preferential treatment convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell has received,'” they said.
Prison consultant Justin Paperny told Daily Mail that people convicted of a sex offense don’t typically serve time in a minimum security prison.
“She was in a low-security prison [in Tallahassee]. That looks like prisons on TV or in the movies. You’re fenced in, razor wire, women serving typically 10 years or longer, more violent crime, sexual offences,” he told the Mail.
“A camp is different and when you go to a place like Bryan, you feel like Disneyland.
“She will feel incredibly free. There is a very low staff to prisoner ratio and camps like Bryan, no fences or barbed wire.
“‘You can literally walk off and nobody will stop you. It’s a cushy country club and looks like a corporate office park or a junior college.”
Spencer Kuvin, a lawyer who represented several Epstein victims, made an ominous statement about Maxwell’s new prison situation.
“Remember what happened to Epstein when they moved him from high protective custody to a lower security level,” he said.
Note that Epstein dies while in prison in 2019 as he awaited trial. His death was ruled a suicide, but that ruling has been questioned by many who feel Epstein knew too much about powerful people who didn’t want him anywhere near a courtroom or a potential deal.
Maxwell’s lawyer wouldn’t say why she wa moved.
