Tom Homan, Trump’s newly appointed “border czar,” has made it clear that he’s taking an aggressive stance on border security and mass deportations, signaling a drastic shift from the current administration’s approach.

Speaking on Fox & Friends, Homan sent a message to sanctuary cities like New York, saying, “If we can’t get assistance from New York City, we may have to double the number of agents we send. Because we’re going to do the job with you or without you.” He added that his team is ready to bring the necessary manpower to take back control of the immigration situation: “We’re going to get it done.”

Homan’s mission is straightforward: protect American communities by removing criminal illegal aliens and securing the U.S. border.

“If local police won’t cooperate, then we’ll wait until these criminals are out of jail, and we’ll go into the neighborhoods and get them,” Homan said firmly. Known for his tough stance on immigration, he has zeroed in on public safety threats, emphasizing that his priority is deporting criminals, terror suspects, and gang members.

“If they’re not willing to do it, then get out of the way — we’re coming,” he stated, clarifying that sanctuary city policies won’t stand in his way.

He also expressed frustration with the lack of resources at the border under current policies, which he said have turned Border Patrol agents into caretakers.

“When you take most border agents off the border to deal with making sandwiches, changing diapers, and making baby formula, that’s when the fentanyl comes across, that’s when the sex trafficking surges, and that’s when terrorists find a way in,” Homan remarked. According to Homan, these issues have created what he calls “the biggest national security vulnerability this nation has seen since 9/11.”

He plans to meet directly with agents and agency heads to address these challenges and refocus resources on stopping illegal crossings. Homan also believes that a border wall, combined with advanced technology, is crucial to deterring illegal crossings.

“We’re not just talking about mass deportations here,” Homan said. “We’re talking about securing our nation.”

Homan also pointed out that workplace raids, a controversial but effective measure, will be back under his leadership, declaring” “Most victims of sex trafficking and forced labor are found at workplaces. If the Biden administration wants to turn a blind eye, we won’t.”

With a mandate to enforce the law and a commitment to restoring order, Homan is ready to carry out Trump’s vision for the “largest deportation program in American history.”
