FROM DAILY MAIL: Hillary Clinton marked her decades-long marriage to the former president by sharing a series of rarely seen, almost unrecognizable throwback photos.
On Saturday, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton celebrated 50 years of marriage to her husband, Bill Clinton, by sharing a nostalgic Instagram tribute from the day they tied the knot back in 1975.
The post featured six soft-focus film photos of a much younger Hillary and Bill Clinton, all baby-faced smiles and effortlessly vintage ’70s charm – a striking contrast to their seasoned, statesmanlike image today.
“When we got married 50 years ago, we had no idea how our lives would unfold,” said the caption. “But one thing I knew for certain then, and still know now, is that I wanted to navigate the ups and downs and in-betweens with you. Happy anniversary, dear Bill.”

Former President Bill Clinton posted his own message, including a picture of the couple captioned, “For 50 years, you have kept me thinking, laughing, and growing. You inspire me every day with your boundless determination to do good in the world in ways large and small. I’m so grateful for you and the life we’ve built together. Happy anniversary, Hillary! Here’s to many more. ”

The Clinton Presidential Center also posted a message celebrating the couple.

All of the accounts had comments turned off, but that didn’t stop opinions from flying. Under other posts about their anniversary, X users shared mixed reactions to the news. Some found the anniversary recognition beautiful and had kind wishes, and others found reasons to mock them.
One user wrote, “Are they celebrating with Monica?” referring to Monica Lewinsky, the woman Bill Clinton had an affair with while he was president.
Another wrote, “Yes he’s been a very faithful, loving husband 😏.”
A supporter hopefully posted, “Happy anniversary you guys! Hope y’all see many more! Can hardly wait to get a Democrat back in the White House!”
And one diplomatic X user wrote, “Quite the accomplishment for both.”
Meanwhile Daily Mail titled their story about the anniversary pics, “Hillary Clinton looks unrecognizable as she shares throwback snaps on 50th wedding anniversary,”
