From Fox News: Caleb Phillips, a 21-year-old regular attendee of Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, said that leftist agitators have continued to harass and heckle congregants going to services the last two Sundays following their disruption of a service on Jan. 18.
He said that he sees the “hatred” being spewed on him and other congregants as a form of “spiritual battle” against the church.
“It says in scripture that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but is against the spirit, the evil spiritual forces of the world. And I think that this is a situation where that is very much true,” Phillips said in an interview with Fox News Digital.
A recent college graduate, Phillips said he has been attending Cities Church since October and that he felt drawn to it because of its “biblically-based” theology and leadership.
Phillips was attending the Sunday morning church service on January 18 when the mob of screaming anti-ICE activists invaded the sanctuary and brought the service to a halt, terrifying many of the children in attendance.
Since that day, police have made sure that the protesters have not re-entered the building, but Phillips said the mob has continued to harass churchgoers outside the church every Sunday.
The Sunday following the Jan. 18 invasion, Phillips said the mob verbally attacked he and his girlfriend, who is Asian, as they exited the church, and accused her of “hanging out with Nazis.”
Phillips recalled that he and his girlfriend offered to pray with some of the protesters who were not being as aggressive. The protesters agreed, so they prayed peace and blessings for them. But as they were walking away, another protester then yelled through a megaphone and hurled the insults at his girlfriend.
He said he immediately felt anger, and then said, “… that was another moment where I kind of had to pull myself back and remind myself, this is a spiritual battle.”
On the day of the invasion, January 18, Phillips announced his mission: “I will be going to protests in Minneapolis tomorrow to preach the word of God to those protesting. They shut our church down this morning before they got to hear the sermon so I will bring Scriptural Truth directly to them. See you soon.”

Responding to a tweet by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, Phillips wrote, “Thank God people are still held accountable in this country. I have compassion for the lost individuals who invaded my church today but I also recognize the deep need for justice to be done. Bring them in.”

“After the congregation cleared the building, the protestors started chanting, “who shut this down? We shut this down!” If these foolish children think that they can shut down the church of the GOD OF THE UNIVERSE they have another thing coming,” Phillips wrote.

“One of the “gentlemen” “peacefully” protesting in my church today said on video that he was going to go in and flip some tables just like Jesus. Careful sir I think you have a plank in your eye. Never compare your depraved self to my Savior again,” he said in another tweet.

Sharing photos of himself holding a large poster that reads, “Jesus Christ is Lord,” Phillips announced, “Following the invasion of my church yesterday by ice protesters, I realized how desperately these people need to be anchored to the truth of Jesus. They also didn’t stay for the sermon and so I decided to bring the gospel directly to them.”

On Don Lemon, Phillips said he was “unprofessional” and was absolutely a part of the mob that stormed his church.
“He was there and he was part of what disrupted our worship service.”

This man yelled at children in my church calling them “privileged pigs”. This is justice. This does not conflict with our Christian love. pic.twitter.com/IhAC5qKThU

“Jesus Christ is not just our Lord. He’s their Lord too. Jesus Christ is the Lord of all regardless of whether or not they acknowledge Him and one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that it is so,” Phillips wrote.

The Sunday after the invasion, the church was packed with worshippers.
And they said it would be empty this morning…
