The twisted and false narrative about recent remarks by Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. J.D. Vance is still being wildly promoted by Democrats – including defeated 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

The hoax Clinton pushed on social media was first started by the Associated Press, who later deleted their headline and re-worded it.

While speaking about school shootings at a campaign rally in Phoenix, Arizona on Thursday, Vance said, “I don’t like that this is a fact of life. But if you are a psycho and you want to make headlines, you realize that our schools are soft targets. And we have got to bolster security at our schools. We’ve got to bolster security so if a psycho wants to walk through the front door and kill a bunch of children they’re not able.”

However, multiple liberal news outlets, including the Associated Press, the New York Times, the Washington Post and several others, all published a warped version of Vance’s comments, simply claiming that “Vance says school shootings are a ‘fact of life.’”

The Harris campaign, including Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, also pushed the false claim, which even prompted one person on social media to call for Vance’s assassination.

Jumping aboard the misinformation train on Friday, Clinton claimed in an X (Twitter) post, “We know regular mass shootings aren’t a “fact of life” (Vance) or something we just “have to get over” (Trump) because they weren’t always a daily reality in America. We CAN have safer communities. Don’t stop demanding action to get them.”

Clinton then locked her post so that no one can comment on it, but that isn’t stopping her from being blasted by some social media users, who are simply sharing her post and adding their remarks.

One X user wrote, “Friggin’ @AP spreads lies, DELETES THEIR LIE, then comes these liars to back up the lie the dmedia deleted: BEFORE this absolute teit sent this lie. HAMAS roomies ‘strike’ again.”

Columnist Joe Concha wrote, “Congrats AP. You gave the most dishonest people on the planet their marching orders.”

Another X user wrote, “AP misquotes Vance. Dems run with the misquote as fact.
AP corrects (wasn’t actually a correction). Dems still run with the misquote as fact.”

Another mocked, “She disables comments? Seriously? 😂 the Hillary who managed to lose to Trump & had to scrap her coronation fireworks over Hudson – she disables those comments on her post? Oh noes!”

Radio host Jimmy Faillla wrote, “NOTHING says “I’m knowingly posting an already debunked lie” like disabling comments. We are living in the death of shame.”

More backlash….
