Defeated 2016 Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is trying to embrace the nickname given by Republicans to Kamala Harris’s running mate, Tim Walz, as she posted a bizarre statement on social media Wednesday.
As the Democrat governor of Minnesota, Walsh signed a bill into law last year that required all public schools in the state to to provide free menstrual products — including pads and tampons — in the school bathrooms, for all students (boys and girls) in 4th through 12th grades.
Promoting support for the transgender community, the bill claims that “not all people who menstruate are women, and not all women get periods.”
Mocking the ludicrous new law, Republicans have dubbed Walz “Tampon Tim.”
Clinton defended Walz, writing mockingly, “How nice of the Trump camp to help publicize Gov. Tim Walz’s compassionate and common-sense policy of providing free menstrual products to students in Minnesota public schools! Let’s do this everywhere.”
Clinton has locked the post, blocking the public from commenting on it.
