President Trump is set to attend Thursday’s Yankees-Tigers game at Yankee Stadium, the White House and team announced.

Officials are urging ticket holders to arrive early and use public transit, citing road closures, restricted access, and limited parking near Yankee Stadium. Gates will open at 4 p.m., ahead of the 7:05 p.m. first pitch.
Officials warned that areas in and around Yankee Stadium may be restricted before, during, and after the game due to security for the president’s visit, with tighter movement controls expected inside the venue and nearby.

Thursday’s game will be more than baseball, as the Yankees’ pregame ceremonies honor 9/11 victims and pay tribute to the first responders and heroes of that day.
Last night, Yankee Stadium honored the assassinated Charlie Kirk with a moment of silence before their game against the Tigers.
