In a Friday morning post on X, the FBI revealed that a potential terrorist attack was prevented in Michigan.
FBI Director Kash Patel gave brief details about the incident, saying they had arrested multiple suspects accused of plotting a violent attack during the Halloween weekend.
“This morning, the FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested multiple subjects in Michigan who were allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend,” Patel wrote.
“More details to come,” he added. “Thanks to the men and women of FBI and law enforcement everywhere standing guard 24/7 and crushing our mission to defend the homeland.”
