Following the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump, he released a statement on social media after surviving an assassination attempt during a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday evening.
As the rally began and Trump was speaking, shots rang out. Trump grabbed his ear and dived to the floor. Secret Service agents quickly rushed to the stage, attending to Trump and ushering him away with blood on his ear and face.
Reports on other injuries have been conflicting, but the latest update indicates that at least one rally attendee was killed, and two others were seriously injured.
The identity of the shooter has yet to be confirmed, but an alleged photograph of the deceased shooter has apparently leaked. The photo can be seen below:
