From Daily Mail: JD Vance on Wednesday continued excoriating Democrats and the left for fueling political violence, citing the attack on ICE agents in Dallas as the latest example of unacceptable behavior from his political opponents.
The vice-president ascribed Wednesday’s shooting to a violent left-wing extremist after the alleged gunman wrote anti-ICE slogans on his ammunition.
Speaking in Concord, North Carolina, Vance also cited evidence ‘that was not yet public’ but reassured the audience that the alleged shooter was ‘politically motivated.’
“If you want to stop political violence, stop attacking our law enforcement as the Gestapo,” he said, adding that the left often refers to Trump supporters as “Nazis.”
“If you want stop political violence, stop telling your supporters that everybody who disagrees with you is a Nazi, he said.
Vance blast California Governor Gavin Newsom for saying the Trump administration and federal immigration officials RE part of an “authoritarian government,” which he said encourages “crazy” people to commit violent acts.
“If your political rhetoric encourages violence against our law enforcement you can go straight to hell,” he said.
