The gloves have officially come off! President Donald Trump is done playing nice with Somalian refugee and progressive ‘Squad’ member, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), following her disparaging comments about Charlie Kirk’s assassination last week.
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) unveiled a resolution on Monday that would have formally censured Omar and strip her of her committee assignments. However, the measure was defeated when it was brought up for a vote on Wednesday, as four rogue Republicans joined all Democrats to squash the effort.
Those four Republicans were Reps. Mike Flood (Neb.), Jeff Hurd (Colo.), Tom McClintock (Calif.) and Rep. Cory Mills (Fla.).
While speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One on Thursday, President Trump declared Omar should be impeached from Congress.

Then, Trump doubled down in a pair of posts on Truth Social.
In one post, which is sure to result in some fiery reactions, the president brought up the years-old allegations that Omar once married her brother. The Daily Mail had reported extensively on the story back in 2020, and the allegation has not exactly been proven wrong.
Trump’s statement reads:
Ilhan Omar’s Country of Somalia is plagued by a lack of central Government control, persistent Poverty, Hunger, Resurgent Terrorism, Piracy, decades of Civil War, Corruption, and pervasive Violence.
70% of the population lives in extreme Poverty, and widespread Food Insecurity. Somalia is consistently ranked among the World’s Most Corrupt Countries, including Bribery, Embezzlement, and a Dysfunctional Government. All of this, and Ilhan Omar tells us how to run America!
P.S. Wasn’t she the one that married her brother in order to gain Citizenship??? What SCUM we have in our Country, telling us what to do, and how to do it. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Trump does appear to have gotten the story backwards. He asked if she married her brother to gain US citizenship. However, according to the original Daily Mail report, the alleged marriage was *allegedly* so her brother could get legal status.

President Trump also pounced on a report about 8 people being charged in a massive fraud scheme in Minnesota. The 8 names listed appear to be of Somalian descent.
A press release by the Justice Department explains that the defendants cooked up a scheme to pretend to help people in need, submitted fake and inflated bills through a government-funded program, then kept much of the money themselves.
“Does Ilhan Omar know these people? Are they from her wonderfully managed Home Country of Somalia?” President Trump asked, sharing a post about the fraud case.
