FROM PAGE SIX: Reba McEntire and Rex Linn announced their engagement on the Emmys red carpet Sunday after five years of dating.
McEntire confirmed the happy news during an interview with E! News when the reporter referred to Linn as McEntire’s “fiancé.”
The country superstar coyly responded, “We’re having a blast on ‘Happy’s Place’ and so glad to be here tonight.”
McEntire’s rep confirmed to Page Six that the couple is engaged.
In October 2023, McEntire said she’d left it up to Linn to decide if he wanted to get married.
“I said [to him], ‘If you want to that’s fine with me.’ I’ve been married twice, he’s never been married so if he wants to that’s up to him,” she said.
McEntire’s exes include Charlie Battles (1976-1987), and Narvel Blackstock — with whom she shares 35-year-old son Shelby (1989-2015).
