From Fox News: Republicans are blasting New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani for getting help from a foreign government official in the waning days of his campaign.
Jeremy Corbyn, the controversial former Labor Party leader who still holds a seat in the British Parliament, joined the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) for a phone-banking event on Mamdani’s behalf on Sunday night.
While it does not run afoul of any U.S. election laws, the move has raised eyebrows among Mamdani’s critics — particularly given the far-left platform Corbyn supports in the U.K.
“I’m honestly not surprised to see a foreign socialist engaging in get-out-the-vote efforts for an American socialist,” said House Committee on Administration Chairman Bryan Steil, R-Wis., whose panel has jurisdiction over U.S. election law.
“I’m hosting a phone bank with @nycDSA to Get Out The Vote for @ZohranKMamdani today at 6pm ET. Let’s get Zohran over the finish line for a New York that’s affordable for all!” Corbyn announced on X Sunday night. The three-hour event is hosted by the Democratic Socialists of America but paid for by Zohran for NYC.

Stu Smith, an investigative analyst for Manhattan Institute, said Corbyn’s actions could be legal as long as he isn’t paid for it.
“Did you know that tonight British politician Jeremy Corbyn will be phone banking for Zohran Mamdani? It’s technically legal under FEC rules as long as Corbyn isn’t compensated. Still, it’s a perfect example of how DSA, technically a 501(c)(4), keeps blurring lines with its ongoing collaborations and cross border ties to foreign parties. Makes you wonder how closely they’re tiptoeing around FARA,” Smith wrote.

Journalist Amy Mek sounded the alarm:
🚨 Hezbollah FOR Zohran Mamdani 🚨
Jeremy Corbyn – the former socialist U.K. Labour leader who openly invited Hezbollah and Hamas to meet with him and calls them his “friends” – is now phone-banking for his comrade Zohran Mamdani.
The DOJ is “reviewing” whether Corbyn’s foreign election work violates U.S. law…
But the real question is:
👉 Why hasn’t our government even tried to deport Mamdani – or investigate his radical, foreign-backed network and the Marxist-Jihadi machine propping him up?
This is the Red-Green Alliance in full view – Marxists and Jihadii fellow-travellers working together to capture our cities and our institutions.

Prominent X user @amuse posted a stark reminder: “Remember that time Trump tweeted for Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn called it election interference? The former British PM is literally calling American voters on the phone to convince them to vote for Zohran Mamdani.”

Looks like we have some foreign election interference.
Jeremy Corbyn claimed that President Trump was “interfering” in Britain’s elections despite him not doing any actual campaigning or anything of the sort.
